Save and Restore Settings
Purpose
This feature allows you to save the particular settings used in the editors & viewers separately in a file.
Operation
- Enable Save Settings from Project Explorer/ System.
- Save Settings File As window appears, browse the path to which file has to be saved.
- Click on Save button to save your settings.
- Then an external file will be generated with .bin extension.We can keep this bin file as a backup.
Note: Save Settings will close all editor windows.
Purpose
This feature allows you to restore the settings used in the editors & viewers back at any time even after un-installation or reinstallation.
Operation
- Enable Restore Settings from Project Explorer/ System. Open Settings File window appears.
- Browse the settings which is to be restored.
- Click on Open button to restore your settings.
Note: Restore Settings will close all editor windows.
