Polygonal Copper Relieve

The working of Polygonal copper relieve and Semi automatic copper trimming are as given below.

1. Polygonal copper relieve

From Fabrication manager > Tools > Artwork& Power /ground planes to view a window “Select Layer for Preview “. Click “Set Used To” > Accept

Now from the Main menu select View > Artwork > Copper Relieve Edit View From the function tool bar Select Create Graphic Item to Relieve Copper ? from the option tool bar, select Relieve copper in Polygon and select the shape at which the trimming need to be executed and press F6 key.
(Please ensure the copper pour area selected on your artwork before performing copper relieve).

2. Semi - automatic copper trimming

From Fabrication manager > from the main menu Tools > Artwork& Power /ground planes to view a window “Select Layer for Preview” Click “Set Used To” > Accept

From the function tool bar select Net info > select Check Reference Nets and click on the copper pour area to get a window “select reference nets “ .Now select the net and Accept .
By clicking on the copper pour area we can view the isolated copper (Black) and Connected copper (red).

For copper trimming, select Define trimming tool to get a window.
From this window select the “corresponding property and value “and accept it
From the option tool bar ? select automatic copper cleanup > Yes > Accept it to trim the area of copper .

For manual trimming of the copper pour area select the option tool > Trim copper > select the properties > Accept and click on the copper area to be trimmed
